Collien Fernandes was born on September 26th, 1981 in Hamburg, Germany to a Portuguese father of Goan origin and a Hungarian mother. She has one sister, Elaine, who is younger. Collien was a member of bands Yam Yam and Suco e Sol. She is also a television host for the channel VIVA as well as acting.

In 2003 she was in the main Cast of the movie "Autobahnraser. In 2004, Collien Fernandes co-starred in the German film Nacht der lebenden Loser, Die (Night of the Living Dorks -U.S. Title) along with Tino Mewes, Manuel Cortez, and Thomas Schmieder. Her character name in the film was Rebecca. Afterwards she played the principal character Sam in the international movie "Snowfever". In 2007 she played in two movies. "Ossis Eleven" (Character Collien) and "Ausbilder Schmidt"(principal character Shirin). Both are going to be in Theaters in 2008. She did a number of TV-Series, such as „Liebesleben“ (Sat.1), „Soko 5113“ (ZDF), „Bis in die Spitzen“ (Sat.1), „Schulmädchen“ (RTL), „Paare“ (Sat.1), „Kings of Comedy“ (RTL). She worked for different TV-Stations as a TV-Presenter, like MTV (Fashion Zone), Vox (Fit for Fun TV), Viva (Viva Live, Top 100, Straßencharts, Specialcharts, Retrocharts, Liebe Sex und Videos, Are you hot, Inside, etc), RTL 2 (Bravo TV, The Dome), DSF (Maxim TV) and Pro 7 (Wok-WM,TV Total on ice).

Collien was chosen as the "Woman of the Year" in both 2003 and 2006 by the readers of the German Maxim Magazine. She was featured in and on the cover of the German edition of 4 Maxim Magazines. She was also featured in Maxim U.S.A., Ukraine, Russia, Spain, etc.

Earlier she has also appeared as a background dancer in videos of famous artists such as Shaggy, Modern Talking and Enrique Iglesias.

She has a number of Advertising-Deals with Companies like Ferrero, Mercedes Benz, Otto and Ticketonline.
