Miranda Lambert (born November 10, 1983 in Lindale, Texas) is an American country singer-songwriter who gained fame as a finalist on the 2003 season of Nashville Star. Signed to Epic Records in 2004, Lambert made her debut with the release of "Me and Charlie Talking", the first single from her 2005 debut album Kerosene, which has been certified platinum in the United States. Her second album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, was released in 2007. To date, Lambert's two albums have produced six hit singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
