Sugarland is an American country music duo composed of two singer-songwriters: Jennifer Nettles (lead vocals) and Kristian Bush (harmony vocals, mandolin, guitar), both from Atlanta, Georgia. The group was founded in 2003 by Kristen Hall (harmony vocals, guitar), also a singer-songwriter from Atlanta. Hall left the group in 2006 and Sugarland has performed as a duo since. To date, Sugarland has released two studio albums, in addition to charting eight singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. The duo is also the 2007 winner of the Country Music Association's Duo of the Year award.
